Texas A&M leads women's golf at The Fin tournament

Texas A&M holds a nine-stroke lead over Oklahoma State and Mississippi State after the second round of The Fin at Freestone Lake & Golf Club in Fairfield, Texas. The Aggies posted an under-par team round of 1-under 287 to reach an even-par total of 576.

In individual competition, Mississippi State’s Alicia Bellendir holds a five-stroke lead at 8-under par following a career-best 6-under 66. Bellendir is followed by Vanderbilt’s Ava Merrill and Texas A&M’s Vanessa Borovilos, who both remain under par heading into the final round.

Other notable team standings include LSU in fourth place, Arkansas in fifth, and the University of Houston in eighth place.
