Women's football: KSC Frauen win home debut as KSV Hessen Kassel suffer late defeat

In regional women's football, KSC Frauen secured a 3-0 victory against Greuther Fürth during their home debut at the Carl-Kaufmann-Stadion. Giulina Kimmig opened the scoring in the seventh minute, followed by a goal from Melissa Zweigner in the 29th minute. An own goal in the second half completed the scoring, while goalkeeper Alexa Seiler maintained a clean sheet.

In contrast, KSV Hessen Kassel suffered a late defeat in their home premiere against FC Ruderting. Despite leading until the 83rd minute and controlling much of the match, Kassel conceded two late goals to lose 1-2. Coach Robert Franke described the performance as being ‘too naive’ in the closing stages of the game.
