Women's Handball Forum held in Ohrid

The first Women's Handball Forum was held in Ohrid, organized by the Handball Federation of Macedonia as part of the Trophy Macedonia 2026 tournament. Under the motto ‘One game. One voice. One future.’, the event brought together five prominent handball figures: Indira Kastratović, Andrea Lekić, Suzana Lazović, Dragana Cvijić, and Lidija Horvat.

The panelists discussed their professional careers, field experiences, and the future of women's handball. A significant portion of the discussion focused on mental health and personal development. Andrea Lekić emphasized the importance of working with psychologists to overcome injuries and rebuild self-confidence, noting that ‘working on yourself means being educated, going to school, and learning.’

Indira Kastratović encouraged younger players to engage in more open communication and dialogue, contrasting modern opportunities with the more restrictive communication styles of previous generations. The forum aimed to foster knowledge exchange and create better conditions for developing younger generations in the sport.
