Women's leadership and innovation events announced in Brazil
Several initiatives in Brazil are focusing on female empowerment through technology, innovation, and leadership.
The Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) will host a roundtable discussion titled ‘Innovation and Technology’ on October 29. Part of the Wings: Women Impacting Girls initiative—a collaborative network involving UFU, the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), and the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM)—the event features speakers Danniela Silva, Isabela Rodrigues Frossard, and Laiza Lucas Moraes. The session aims to discuss technological development and entrepreneurship.
Additionally, the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) is organizing the second edition of ‘Bate-papo com Elas,’ an online event scheduled for October 28. The discussion, themed ‘Courage to lead: the conversations that strengthen teams, relationships, and results,’ will feature psychologist and mentor Thirza Reis. Moderated by Mônica Monteiro, the event is part of the IEL Leaders Academy and the LiderA initiative, designed to strengthen female leadership within the industrial sector.
