Women's leadership in rural Spain highlighted at regional forums

Events in Spain are highlighting the critical role of women in rural development and agricultural leadership. In Pazos de Borbén, the VI Forum of the Galician Rural Woman will take place to recognize women who strengthen the economic, social, and cultural fabric of the Galician countryside through sectors such as hospitality, crafts, and local commerce.

Simultaneously, the sixth edition of the Womanation Congress will be held in Valencia. Under the theme ‘Root and Future. Without them, there is no countryside,’ the congress aims to address the gap between female presence in rural areas and their participation in decision-making roles. The event will bring together institutions, universities, and businesses to discuss generational renewal, innovation, and the future of the agricultural sector.
