Wong Cho-lam reveals 40-day fast to pursue Li Ya-nam

During an appearance on the TVB program ‘A Week of Stars’, Hong Kong entertainer Wong Cho-lam revealed extreme measures he took to pursue his partner, Li Ya-nam. Wong disclosed that he fasted for 40 days as a show of sincerity to win her affection.

Wong noted that the final day of his fast coincided with the lowest point of his body weight. He stated that on that same day, Li agreed to begin a relationship with him. To maintain privacy during their early dating period, the couple traveled to Lugano, Switzerland, a location Wong chose specifically because it had fewer Chinese residents, allowing them to avoid public attention.
