Woodoo Festival in Cassano Magnago Returns Free for July 31–August 1

The Woodoo Festival in Cassano Magnago will be held free of charge on Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August as part of its eleventh edition titled “One more dance”. The event is organised by the cultural association Le Officine with the patronage of the municipality and aims to showcase local creative talent and zero‑kilometre initiatives.

The programme features two stages. The Main Stage hosts the local collective Mega on 31 July and the group This Is Not on 1 August. The Wood Stage offers performances by Ul Caminett Selectors with MadSoundSystem on 31 July and by VaiTra on 1 August. Additional attractions include tarot readings under the stars, body‑ and face‑painting, a vintage and craft market, dance‑ and sound‑performances, new installations, workshops and a stand from the label Nipples Just Wanna Have Fun.

Other cultural events mentioned for the same weekend include the opening ceremony of the European Rowing Championships in Varese, where a parade of 31 national teams marked the start of the continental series, and a celebration in Arcumeggia of the painted village’s 70‑year anniversary with an exhibition dedicated to artist Gianfilippo Usellini.
