Woody Allen continues filmmaking career at age 90

At 90 years old, filmmaker Woody Allen continues to work, driven by a lifelong passion for directing, writing, and music. The director has frequently dismissed the concept of retirement, stating, “Retirement is for people who have spent their whole lives hating what they did.”

Allen’s upcoming cinematic project is set to take place in Madrid, Spain. This move aligns with his long-held ambition to continue producing films well into his later years, a goal he previously compared to the longevity of director Luis Buñuel. For Allen, creative pursuits such as directing and playing the clarinet are integral parts of his daily existence rather than mere professional obligations.
