Woolworths and BIG W face Disney Ooshies shortage

Disney Ooshies collectables are running out across Australia ahead of the scheduled August 25 end date. Woolworths Group expects stock to be exhausted at its supermarkets by the end of this week, while BIG W stores are expected to run out over the coming weekend.

The promotion, which offers one free character for every $30 spent, features a 40-character set including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars themes. Due to the high demand, many shoppers have been unable to complete their collections.

To assist collectors, Woolworths is hosting a final Swap Day across all stores this Saturday, August 15, from 12 pm to 3 pm. This event is intended to allow customers to trade duplicate characters to finish their sets. Woolworths has requested that customers show patience and kindness to team members as stock winds down.
