Wooree Group introduces liposome verification standards at Vitafoods Asia

Wooree Group, an LED and bio-technology company, has concluded its exhibition at Vitafoods Asia 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. During the event, CEO Ji-young Yoon introduced a new scientific verification framework designed to establish quality standards for the rapidly growing liposome market.

Yoon emphasized that the industry lacks objective criteria, noting that products are often labeled as ‘liposomes’ based solely on particle size or phospholipid content without sufficient proof. To address this, Wooree Group proposed the ‘Six Pillars’ of scientific verification, which include Cryo-TEM structural confirmation, NTA particle analysis, encapsulation efficiency, long-term stability, gastrointestinal stability, and pharmacokinetics.

The company showcased its integrated bio-value chain, spanning raw materials (Wooree Green Science), manufacturing (Wooree Bio), and brands (Harutin and Clarion). Additionally, Wooree Group received the Silver Award for Sustainability Booth Design from organizer Informa Markets.
