Woori Bank launches support program for small businesses
Woori Bank, the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency, and the Good Influence Store corporation have launched the ‘Injeong Store’ initiative to support small-scale entrepreneurs. The program aims to identify micro-businesses with growth potential and provide them with stability and marketing assistance.
During a ceremony held on September 7 at Yeonhwa Siktak, a small restaurant in Mapo-gu, Seoul, the first official plaque was presented. A total of 18 businesses have been selected for the program based on their potential for growth and commitment to community contribution. Supported businesses will receive official signage, stickers, marketing funds for online promotion, and exposure through social media and press releases.
Woori Bank CEO Jeong Jin-wan stated that the bank intends to create a virtuous cycle of inclusive finance by helping small business owners achieve independence and growth, thereby revitalizing local economies.
