Woowa Brothers unveils AI and robot technology at Woacon 2026

Woowa Brothers, the operator of the food delivery service Baedal Minjok, presented its technological roadmap for a ‘seamless city’ at the Woacon 2026 conference in Seoul. The company is integrating artificial intelligence and robotics to connect customers, stores, riders, and robots more efficiently.

Key AI advancements include a delivery time prediction model that utilizes 58 types of data, such as regional congestion and rider availability, which has proven to be 1.7 times more accurate than manual input by store owners. The company also showcased an AI model that reduces cooking time prediction errors by 50% and a system that predicts rider demand during weather changes, reducing response times by approximately 80%.

In addition to software, the company is expanding its physical delivery capabilities using ‘Dilly,’ an autonomous delivery robot. In certain areas of Gangnam, Seoul, robot-led deliveries for B-Mart orders have seen a 240% year-on-year increase in order volume, with over 99% of the driving distance completed without human intervention.
