Worcestershire launches free smoking cessation service for youth

The Smoke Free Homes service has launched in Worcestershire to provide free smoking cessation support for children and young people aged 12 to 17. The initiative offers 12 weeks of dedicated one-to-one support from specialist workers experienced in assisting youth.

Participants can access appointments at school, at home, or in other comfortable settings. The service includes access to nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and focuses on helping young people understand their habits and set goals to become smoke-free. Individuals can self-refer to the program when they feel ready to quit.
