Wordly reports 668% three-year growth driven by AI translation

Wordly, an AI translation and captioning company, has reported a 668% growth over the last three years. The company climbed to 52nd place among software companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, rising from 196th in the previous year.

The company has surpassed milestones of 1 billion minutes of live content and 6 million users. According to the 2026 State of AI Translation & Captions Report, 66% of enterprise event planners now claim that live AI translation exceeds the quality of human interpreters while reducing costs and logistical challenges.

Founder and CEO Lakshman Rathnam stated that real-time multilingual content is moving beyond large international conferences and is becoming a standard tool for businesses, universities, and public agencies for everyday operations such as town halls and training sessions.
