Work Men S. A. pivots to alfalfa exports in 25 de Mayo
Work Men S. A., a family-owned company with over 20 years of experience in the oil services industry, is pivoting toward large-scale agriculture in 25 de Mayo, Argentina. The company is launching an alfalfa production project specifically designed for international export.
The initiative began with approximately 1,000 hectares and aims to expand its productive surface through the use of advanced technology, irrigation, and land leveling. The production will focus on compressed alfalfa bales and pellets. Work Men S. A. has already secured a contract to supply the United Arab Emirates, citing high global demand.
Led by Antonio García, the project seeks to integrate local small and medium-sized producers into the supply chain. The expansion is expected to have a significant economic impact on the region, with projections suggesting the creation of around 200 jobs.
