Worker dies after falling from roof at SEN headquarters in Paraguay

A 29-year-old worker, Roberto Acosta Ortiz, has died following a workplace accident at the headquarters of the Secretaría de Emergencia Nacional in Mariano Roque Alonso, Paraguay. The incident occurred on Monday morning when a metal sheet on a shed roof gave way while Ortiz was performing maintenance work.

Ortiz fell approximately eight meters and was rushed to the Hospital Distrital de Mariano Roque Alonso. Despite emergency efforts, including intubation, he succumbed to multiple fractures and severe traumatic injuries. Authorities are investigating the structural failure that led to the fall.
