CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu orders investigation into missing party assets

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, leader of the CHP, has ordered a comprehensive investigation into property damage and missing assets within party buildings across 81 provinces. This move follows allegations that former party officials, who have since joined the newly formed Yeni Parti, removed furniture and technical equipment during the handover of local and district offices.

During a meeting with provincial chairpersons, Kılıçdaroğlu instructed that all losses be documented through official reports and that legal action be taken against those responsible. The investigation aims to determine the total financial cost of the missing items and the physical damage sustained during the evacuation of various party headquarters.

In a separate development in Malatya, reconstruction efforts for the Yeni Cami (Teze Mosque) following the February 6 earthquakes are nearing completion. Local officials, including Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın and MP Abdurrahman Babacan, reported that interior work is largely finished, with plans to open the mosque for worship by the end of September.
