Workers dismantle fence in Illinois following payment dispute

A group of Latino workers in Joliet, Illinois, filmed themselves dismantling a wooden fence they had recently installed following a dispute over payment. The incident was captured on video and shared on social media by César Díaz of the Diaz Fence Company.

The footage shows the crew using hammers and electric saws to remove the wooden panels and structure piece by piece. During the process, the property owner is seen on camera repeatedly demanding that the workers leave his premises.

According to social media reports accompanying the video, the workers claimed the client refused to pay for the completed work and allegedly attempted to use immigration status as leverage by threatening to contact ICE. However, the video itself does not confirm whether immigration authorities were contacted or if any official reports were filed by either party.
