Workers' Party issues social media message regarding Deltan Dallagnol

The Paraná state directory of the Workers' Party (PT) published a social media post containing the message “Deltan, you are next...” directed at Senator-elect Deltan Dallagnol (Novo-PR).

The PT directory clarified that the post refers to the party's intention to pursue legal actions within the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) to challenge Dallagnol's eligibility. The party aims to seek the rejection of his candidacy, arguing he lacks the legal standing to hold office due to the application of the ‘Ficha Limpa’ (Clean Slate) law following the revocation of his previous mandate as a federal deputy.

Dallagnol, who secured a Senate seat in the 2026 elections after running with his registration “deferred via appeal,” has criticized the message. While opposition supporters have labeled the post as a threat to democratic principles, the PT maintains that its actions are strictly within the legal framework of the electoral justice system.
