Workers' Party president shot in Tailândia, Brazil

Toizim Moreira, the president of the Workers' Party (PT) in Tailândia, Pará, was shot on Monday evening. According to the Tailândia General Hospital, Moreira is in critical condition.

Witnesses reported that two men arrived at the scene on a motorcycle. One individual dismounted, entered Moreira's office, and fired multiple shots before both suspects fled. Local Civil and Military Police forces are currently conducting investigations to identify and locate the perpetrators. The motive for the attack remains unknown.
