Workforce Holdings launches AI platform to automate manual paperwork
Workforce Holdings has launched a customizable, cloud-based AI processing platform designed to convert manual paperwork into usable digital data. The platform utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR), machine learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate the ingestion, indexing, and interpretation of complex handwritten or digital forms.
By addressing the bottleneck of unstructured data, the technology aims to reduce administrative backlogs and capture errors across the group’s 27 businesses in sectors including staffing, recruitment, healthcare, and financial services. Deputy CEO Vanessa Ruch stated that the platform was built to solve specific business problems rather than follow industry hype, allowing the company to scale operations without a proportional increase in administrative overhead.
This digital shift complements the broader industry need for effective workflow management. Modern HR operations often struggle with fragmented processes involving spreadsheets and email threads; implementing structured, automated workflows across the employee lifecycle—from recruitment to offboarding—is increasingly seen as essential for maintaining consistency and supporting organizational functions like workforce planning and AI adoption.
