Workman expands recovery wear line into business and workwear

Workman has announced an aggressive expansion of its MEDIHEAL recovery wear line, aiming to surpass the scale of the historic fleece boom seen in the early 2000s. To prevent the stock shortages that affected previous seasons, the company has increased its production plan to a maximum of 34 million units, representing a scale of approximately 50 billion yen.

The company is shifting its strategy from traditional lounge and sleepwear toward the 'active' market. This includes the industry's first recovery business suits and recovery workwear, designed to promote fatigue recovery through the use of specialized minerals that reflect far-infrared rays.

Additionally, Workman is introducing high-performance models like 'MEDIHEAL Cosmos,' which incorporates Outlast temperature-regulating technology originally developed for NASA. The company aims to dominate the sector by offering high-functionality apparel at competitive price points compared to existing high-end competitors.
