Workplace accidents reported in Vosges and Rennes
Two separate industrial accidents occurred in France involving workers. In the Vosges region, an 18-year-old logger was injured in Housseras when a tree fell on his back. Emergency responders, including the Dragon 67 helicopter and mountain gendarmerie, evacuated the victim to a hospital in Nancy. The labor inspectorate has been notified of the incident.
In Rennes, a worker was seriously injured during a house fire in the Bréquigny district. The fire broke out in the roof of a house undergoing renovations. While three colleagues remained unharmed, the injured worker sustained severe hand injuries and was transported to a university hospital. Firefighters worked to prevent the blaze from spreading to adjacent properties, and the residents of the affected home are being relocated to stay with family.
