Workplace mental health in Brazil faces organizational challenges
Research indicates a disconnect between corporate wellness discourse and actual workplace organization in Brazil. A study by QualiBest, commissioned by iFood, found that 58% of professionals believe organizational culture is the first thing to yield under pressure for results. Furthermore, only 36% of employees who are aware of their company's culture report that it is consistently practiced.
Health indicators reflect these organizational challenges. Data from Robert Half shows that 59% of Brazilian professionals surveyed rated their burnout levels between 6 and 10 on a scale where 10 represents total exhaustion. Key contributing factors include increased workloads due to reduced staffing, professional stagnation, and decreased motivation following corporate restructuring.
