WorkWell programme launches in Devon to aid health‑related employment challenges

A new programme called WorkWell is being introduced across Devon to provide free, personalised support for people aged 16 and over whose physical or mental health makes work difficult. The service helps individuals stay in employment, return after an absence, or find new work, matching each person with a dedicated coach.

WorkWell is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and NHS England, commissioned by NHS Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and delivered through local partner organisations. Programme lead Jessie Leigh said the aim is to reduce isolation and give tailored advice to those facing health‑related work challenges.
