World America cruise ship featured on M6 television

The M6 television program ‘Zone Interdite’ will feature a special episode on August 25, 2026, focusing on the World America, one of the world’s largest and most modern cruise ships. Measuring 333 meters in length, the vessel can accommodate up to 6,700 passengers and 2,000 crew members.

Following its inauguration in Saint-Nazaire, the ship operates routes from Miami to Puerto Rico, including stops in Mexico and the Bahamas. The program follows three French families experiencing the cruise, highlighting the scale of the ship’s amenities, such as its large amusement park and all-you-can-eat buffets, while also touching upon the economic importance of cruise tourism to local island economies.
