World Association of Noonomy holds Global Congress in Rome

The World Association of Noonomy (WAN) held its Global Congress in Rome from September 16 to 19, 2026, at the Hotel Parco dei Principi. The event brought together over one hundred scholars, economists, and philosophers from 35 countries to discuss societal transformations and the challenges of the knowledge era.

A central theme of the congress was the theory of Noonomy, developed by Russian economist and professor Sergey Bodrunov. During the plenary session, Bodrunov presented on the ‘Theory of Noonomy: A New Paradigm of Civilizational Development’. Svetlana Bodrunova, Vice President of WAN, also played a key role in leading discussions regarding the impact of artificial intelligence, mediatization dynamics, and emerging forms of social inequality.

The congress included institutional greetings from various diplomatic and international figures, including the Russian Ambassador to Italy, Alexey Paramonov, and UNCTAD Deputy Secretary-General Pedro Manuel Moreno.
