World Beer Awards 2026 recognizes global winners
The 2026 World Beer Awards, held in Norwich, United Kingdom, have recognized several international winners across various beer styles.
Bavik Super Pils from Brouwerij De Brabandere secured the title of ‘World’s Best Lager’ after previously winning gold as the best International Lager in Belgium. Other notable Belgian winners include Petrus Tripel, which earned silver in the Belgian Style Strong category, and Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, which took gold in the same category. Corsendonk also received honors, with Corsendonk Blanche winning silver in the Belgian Style Witbier category and Corsendonk Pater Dubbel earning bronze in the Belgian Style Dubbel category.
German brewery Ayinger earned five medals, including silver for Ayinger Bairisch Pils, Jahrhundert Bier, and Lager Helle Urweisse, and bronze for Ayinger Bräuweisse.
Representing India, Six Fields from DeVANS Modern Breweries Ltd. won five medals. Six Fields Brute was named the Country Winner and awarded gold in the International Lager category. The brand also secured silver for Six Fields Cult in the Belgian Style Witbier category, and bronze medals for Six Fields Blanche (Belgian Style Witbier) and Six Fields Pilsner (Hoppy Pilsner).
