World Boxing improves ASOIF governance score to 152
World Boxing has achieved a governance score of 152 in a new assessment conducted by the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF). This represents a significant increase from the score of 117 recorded in March 2026.
The new score exceeds the ASOIF Governance Task Force target of 135 for Associate Members and surpasses the 150 benchmark for Full Members. As a result, World Boxing has moved from Group C to Group B in the ASOIF governance classification.
Improvements were noted across five key areas: Transparency, Integrity, Democracy, Development and Sustainability, and Control Mechanisms. President Gennadiy Golovkin stated that the result reflects tangible progress in strengthening the organization’s institutional framework and credibility.
