World Chen Clan Association elects Chen Shan-run as new Chairperson

The World Chen Clan Association held its 15th General Assembly at the Bo Yan Banquet Hall in Taoyuan to conduct elections for its board of directors and supervisors. Chen Shan-run has officially assumed the role of new Chairperson, succeeding the outgoing Chairperson Chen Zheng-quan. The transition ceremony was overseen by Honorary Chairperson Chen Sheng-gen.

In addition to the leadership change, the assembly elected Chen Zhi-zhong, a Hong Kong resident, as the convener of the Board of Supervisors. The new leadership structure includes 35 directors and 11 supervisors. The assembly also successfully reviewed and passed major financial proposals, including the 2026 budget and work plans.

During his inaugural remarks, Chen Shan-run emphasized the importance of cultural continuity, stating that while leadership may change, the organization's cultural heritage must remain unbroken. He expressed a vision to evolve the association from a social networking group into a global cultural community focused on generational education.
