World Climbing Series Madrid 2026 draws top climbers in Alcobendas

The World Climbing Series Comunidad de Madrid 2026 was staged at the Polideportivo Municipal José Caballero in Alcobendas, featuring both men's and women's boulder rounds. Eighty‑four climbers from around the world competed, with a Spanish squad of 28 athletes selected by the national climbing federation.

Spanish competitors Guillermo Peinado and Manuel Pastor emerged as the leading performers in the men's qualifier, securing places in the semi‑finals. The event schedule included qualifications on 28 May, semi‑finals on 29‑30 May and finals later that weekend, with spectators watching the action and a delegation from Japan visiting the venue.
