World Cup 2026 marks record age gap and launches 4‑panel smart ball

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature an unprecedented generational spread on the field. Scotland’s goalkeeper Craig Gordon, aged 43, will be the oldest player, while Mexico’s 17‑year‑old prodigy Gilberto Mora will become the youngest ever to start and score in a World Cup match.
