World Financial Planning Day marks 10th anniversary

The Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB) will celebrate the 10th annual World Financial Planning Day on October 7, 2026. The event is part of the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ World Investor Week, aimed at promoting financial education and consumer protection through the work of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals.

To mark the anniversary, the FPSB will release findings from its 2026 study regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on financial planning. The research examines how AI influences consumer engagement with financial data and how planners utilize the technology to increase efficiency while maintaining the necessity of human judgment and ethical responsibility.

Global activities are planned across several regions, including Brazil, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam.
