World Harp Festival arrives at Asunción’s Municipal Theater

The XIX edition of the World Harp Festival will take place from October 9 to 11 at the Teatro Municipal ‘Ignacio A. Pane’ in Asunción. This year’s festival pays tribute to Luis Bordón and is presented by the National Secretariat of Culture and the Itaú Foundation.

The three-day event features international guests, including Japanese harpist Lucía Shiomitsu and Cuban-American harpist Alfredo Rolando Ortiz. The programming includes performances by various artists such as Norma Ortega, accompanied by the National Congress Symphony Orchestra, and Raoul Moretti. Access to the festival is free to the public.
