World Health Organization opens 2026 internship applications

The World Health Organization (WHO) has opened applications for its 2026 internship program, including funded positions located in Manila, Philippines. The program is part of the WHO Global Internship Program and is open to undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students from all member states.

Internships in the Philippines cover various technical areas, including healthy ageing, communicable diseases, research, ethics, and innovation. The three-month positions provide a monthly stipend or living allowance, along with medical and accident insurance. Some positions may also include lunch benefits.

To be eligible, applicants must be at least 20 years old, currently enrolled in a university (having completed at least three years of study), or have completed a qualification within the last six months. Applicants must hold a valid passport from a WHO Member State and must not have previously participated in the WHO internship program. No language proficiency tests, such as IELTS, are required for the application process.
