World of Outlaws Late Model Series begins Iowa tour

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series is beginning the second half of its Iowa tour, visiting three tracks for the first time. The schedule includes Southern Iowa Speedway on Wednesday, Aug. 26, followed by Adams County Speedway on Friday, Aug. 28, and Shelby County Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 29.

Prize money is significant for the week, with $12,000 awarded at Southern Iowa and $20,000 at both Adams County and Shelby County. The events will feature various racing divisions, including Modifieds, Stock Cars, and Hobby Stocks.

Bobby Pierce enters the week looking to extend his season record after securing his 19th victory at Maquoketa Speedway. While Pierce has never raced at Southern Iowa Speedway, he has previously won at both Adams County and Shelby County.
