World of Tanks announces DOOM collaboration event

World of Tanks is launching a limited-time collaboration with the DOOM franchise through a special Battle Pass event. Running from October 1 to October 12, the event is primarily designated for the PC version of the game.

Players can access various iconic characters from the DOOM saga, including Doomguy, the Doom Slayer, Samuel Hayden, Commander Thira, and The Betrayer. These commanders feature authentic voice acting and sound effects from the original series.

A key highlight of the event is the FV225 Collector tank, which can be equipped with the 3D FV225 Mk. BFG style inspired by the BFG9000 weapon. The tank functions similarly to existing British double-barreled heavy tanks. Additionally, the collaboration includes various 3D accessories and cosmetic sets, such as 'Doomguy’s Keepsakes' which pays homage to the original game, and 'Fight Like Hell' which draws inspiration from the modern DOOM trilogy.
