World of Tanks August 2024 Update Highlights 16th Anniversary and New Events

World of Tanks released its August 2024 update, marking the game's 16th anniversary with the new "Journey" in‑game event that lets players explore familiar locations and earn rewards. The Frontline mode returns with large‑scale sector battles across massive maps, and a token store lets players spend unspent Cupcake Tokens for cosmetic items until 9:00 UTC on 7 September.

The update also adds the Onslaught Light 7v7 competitive mode, the AMD Onslaught Legends Cup #5 finals, an AMD Clan Showdown with a €15,000 prize pool, and a WCI Wildcard Tournament offering a spot at this year's World Championship in China.
