WoW Forever: Blizzard expands beta servers amid high player interest
Blizzard Entertainment is seeing massive interest in the beta phase of WoW Forever, a Classic-Plus interpretation of World of Warcraft. Due to high player numbers, Vice President Holly Longdale announced that server capacities have been increased to prevent queues.
Developers are introducing several quality-of-life and gameplay features. A new Round-Robin system will ensure quest items are distributed evenly among group members to prevent loot inequality. Additionally, a cooking profession update will provide a 5% experience point buff for defeating enemies, incentivizing players to utilize professions for faster leveling.
Environmental and exploration updates are also underway. A planned beta update will introduce more frequent weather effects, such as rain, to enhance atmosphere. Players have also discovered unique items like the Nightwatchman's Torch, which provides actual light in dark zones like Duskwood.
