World of Warcraft releases Black Temple in Burning Crusade Classic

Blizzard Entertainment has released Phase 3 of the Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition, featuring the long-awaited Black Temple raid. The update, which launched on August 27, 2026, includes the Black Temple raid with nine bosses, including the final encounter against Illidan Stormrage.

In addition to the Black Temple, the update introduces the Battle for Mount Hyjal raid, which features five bosses. Players also gain access to the Netherwing faction and its associated quest area in Shadowmoon Valley. The update further expands gameplay through the introduction of epic gems for gear customization.
