World of Warships: Legends gets Modern Era mode and joins GeForce NOW library
Wargaming released a major update for World of Warships: Legends to mark its seven‑year anniversary. The patch adds a limited‑time Modern Era battle mode featuring Cold War‑era ships such as the German battleship Mecklenburg and a new U.S. carrier named Franklin D. Roosevelt, along with homing missiles, EMP waves and other modern tech. A five‑week campaign called Noble Lombard offers 100 milestones and rewards, while special in‑game chests provide exclusive ships and premium cruisers.
In August, NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW streaming service added World of Warships: Legends to its catalog as part of a rollout of 26 new games. The launch was highlighted at QuakeCon in Texas, where attendees could test cloud gaming on RTX 5080 hardware and the Lenovo Legion Go S handheld. Players can now access the new content across multiple devices without installing the game.
