World of Wonder film ‘Stop! That! Train!’ to release in U.K. cinemas

World of Wonder’s first theatrically distributed film, ‘Stop! That! Train!’, is set to release in U.K. cinemas on August 21. The film is a campy disaster spoof starring RuPaul and features various alumni from ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’.

Lead performers Jujubee and Ginger Minj portray best friends working as trolley-dollies on the Glamazonian Express. The plot follows the duo as they attempt to save the train from a massive storm known as a ‘Stormaganza’. The cast includes Brooke Lynn Hytes, Symone, Marcia Marcia Marcia, and Latrice Royale, with a cameo by Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Directed by Adam Shankman, the film is described as a modern, queer-focused take on classic comedy films like ‘Airplane!’. While the musical numbers and humor are tailored toward the queer community and drag fans, the production is a major milestone for World of Wonder’s cinematic expansion.
