World Rally Championship round in Jyväskylä sees strong competition among top drivers

The World Rally Championship (WRC) round in Jyväskylä, Finland, features a packed start list of leading drivers across the Rally1, Rally2 and Rally3 classes. Notable entries include Thierry Neuville and Adrien Fourmaux for Hyundai, Elfyn Evans and Oliver Solberg for Toyota, and Sébastien Ogier, who will be co‑piloted by veteran Julien Ingrassia after Vincent Landais withdrew for family reasons.

Drivers expressed confidence ahead of the event. Neuville said his team is not "far from Toyota's pace," while Fourmaux aims for at least a podium after a strong showing in Estonia. Ogier highlighted his goal of winning and praised Ingrassia's experience, noting the Frenchman's record of 54 wins in 168 WRC rallies. Evans, currently leading the drivers' championship, will start first on Friday and emphasized the difficulty of recovering lost time on the fast Finnish gravel.

The official Sunday morning start list confirms the participation of 70+ competitors, including seasoned veterans and emerging talents, underscoring the high level of competition expected at the Jyväskylä round.
