World Rowing Championships: German silver and Austrian eighth place

At the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, the German men's quadruple sculls team secured a silver medal. The crew, consisting of Marc Weber, Felix Heinrich, Jonas Gelsen, and Ole Hohensee, finished with a time of 5:34.46 minutes, trailing only the defending champions from Italy. The team's performance marked the fastest time ever recorded by a German quadruple sculls boat.

In the lightweight single sculls category, Austrian rower Konrad Hultsch finished eighth overall. After competing in the B-final, Hultsch took second place in that heat with a time of 7:36.95 minutes. Hultsch noted that difficult wind conditions on the outer lane impacted his performance during the regatta.
