World Series of Pro Mod to Relocate to Texas Motorplex in 2027

The World Series of Pro Mod drag racing event will move from Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida to the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas. The series creator Wes Buck announced the change, setting the new dates for March 5‑7, 2027, and indicating the event will run as a standalone race rather than the finale of the winter schedule.

Christie Meyer Johnson, co‑owner and general manager of Texas Motorplex, said the venue’s historic status and facilities make it an ideal home for the series. The relocation will alter the traditional Florida winter stretch, requiring teams to adjust travel and preparation plans, while offering fans a high‑profile race at one of drag racing’s most iconic tracks.
