World Skate Games 2026: Brazilian skaters compete in Assunção

The World Skate Games 2026 in Assunção, Paraguay, features significant competition in Skate Park. Brazilian skater Raicca Ventura, the 2024 world champion, has qualified for the women's final after finishing fourth in the qualifying round with 80.16 points. She will compete against top skaters including Japan's Mizuho Hasegawa and Cocona Hiraki, and Great Britain's Sky Brown.

In the men's competition, heavy rain forced a suspension of the semifinals on Friday, delaying the final results until Saturday. Despite the weather, Brazilian athletes showed strong performances: Augusto Akio recorded a high score of 94.01, while Gui Khury and Kalani Konig also posted competitive marks. The event serves as a key component of the qualification cycle for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
