World Supercross Championship opens in Calgary

The 2026 FIM World Supercross Championship begins on Saturday, August 8 at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium, marking the series’ first visit to the Canadian city. Reigning SX1 champion Jason Anderson returns with Pipes Motorsports Group, while SX2 champion Max Anstie joins Rick Ware Racing. Three‑time AMA Supercross champion Cooper Webb also competes in the opening round.

The Calgary event launches a six‑round global calendar that will travel to Birmingham (UK) on October 10, Buenos Aires (Argentina) on October 24, the Gold Coast (Australia) on November 21, an as‑yet‑unconfirmed South African venue, and will conclude on December 5 in Christchurch, New Zealand – the series’ inaugural race on Kiwi soil. Ticket prices start at $20, with general admission at $40 and various VIP options available.
