Italy launches major AI and tech showcases in Assisi, Bologna and Milan

Avantune unveiled its new AI‑driven management platform Genialcloud 11 at the international “Enjoy” forum in Assisi on 1‑2 July 2026. The system features the native AI assistant Trinity, which can analyze company data, flag issues and even trigger orders.

In Bologna, the We Make Future (WMF) 2026 exhibition opened with a record‑breaking programme: more than 800 exhibitors, over 3,000 startup founders, 50+ foreign delegations and 20 international pavilions. Highlights include the launch of the world’s largest paper airplane, a drone show of 500 units and an evening party at Palazzo Re Enzo.

Dynatrace held its Italian leg of the Innovate Roadshow Tour in Milan, presenting AI‑powered observability as a way to turn growing data complexity into actionable decisions. The company cited the global AI market’s projected rise to $4.8 trillion by 2033.

The World Tech Conference ran from 24‑27 June 2026 at Milan’s Allianz MiCo, gathering governments, big‑tech firms, hyperscalers and leading scientists. Topics covered quantum computing, artificial intelligence, high‑performance computing and technology governance, with speakers such as Henna Virkkunen (European Commission), Nobel laureate Giorgio Parisi and Fields‑ medalist Alain Connes.
