Worldcoin token revalued after Google trims Gemini output by 17%

Worldcoin (WLD), an altcoin linked to artificial‑intelligence applications, is being reassessed following Google's rollout of Gemini 3.6 Flash on July 21. The new model generates about 17% fewer tokens than the previous Flash release, lowering development costs and speeding agent workflows.

Google is shifting its focus toward personalized agents and world‑model research rather than pure benchmark performance. Sundar Pichai highlighted the importance of custom agents, even as Alphabet’s shares fell 6% in June after two senior researchers moved to rival labs. Alphabet reported Q2 revenue of $119.8 billion, with $44.9 billion spent on data‑center and equipment capex, driving free‑cash‑flow to a negative $5.86 billion.

Worldcoin’s thesis ties digital identity to future machine participation, so changes in AI strategy and token supply dynamics could reshape risk appetite for AI‑linked cryptocurrencies.
