World’s top luxury hotels spotlighted as hospitality industry stresses guest experience
The Robb Report released its 2026 list of the 50 best luxury hotels, ranking ten properties for their service, architecture and exclusive experiences. The top ten include Shinta Mani Mustang in Nepal, Singita Kwitonda in Rwanda, Hope Lodge in Scotland, Park Hyatt Tokyo in Japan, Shakti Prana in India, Collegio alla Querce in Italy, Claridge’s in London, Le Bristol Paris in France, Islas Secas in Panama and Casa Bonavita in Malta. The selection was made by 24 travel experts who evaluated criteria such as attention to detail, location, integration with nature and guest experience.
A separate commentary on hospitality emphasizes that a hotel’s lasting memory comes from genuine hospitality, staff engagement, community integration, local culture and sustainability. It argues that investing in people, training and environmentally‑responsible practices creates lasting guest impressions beyond physical amenities.
